The celebrated novelist Alan Hollinghurst came to Birkbeck to take part in the latest of our Man Booker conversations with writers who have been nominated for Britain’s most prestigious literary prize. A substantial audience heard Professor Russell Celyn Jones ask Hollinghurst about his Booker-winning novel The Line of Beauty (2004).
